This year the festival will be held April 25, 26 & 27. We are extremely excited to have country music star T. Graham Brown and country music legend Mel McDaniel headline the entertainment. As usual many more performers, national and local, are being booked for the fun filled weekend. Vendors from all over the southeast are signing up to attend and exciting events and contests are being planned for the weekend as well.
The Geneva Festival on the Rivers has been an annual tradition for residents of the wiregrass and many parts of the country for over 30 years. It brings visitors as well as revenue to our community. Last year (2006) was our first year to seek corporate sponsorship and it was very successful. Our generous sponsors helped us keep the annual tradition alive and get quality entertainment that turned out to be one of the most successful River Festivals in our history! We estimate over 10,000 people came through the 2007 Festival over the three day period! With your contributions we will build the funds needed to book entertainers for future festivals and we will advertise your business before and during the festival.
Attached you will find the various levels of sponsorship and the benefits of each. This will be a GREAT way to spend your advertising dollars. Please take this opportunity to give back to the community in order to keep our River Festival tradition going. You may choose one of the following options as a business or and individual. We are developing posters, banners, radio and television spots so please get your contribution in as soon as possible so that you will get the most advertisement possible!
